Armani Privé Spring 2015 Couture

Taylor rocks a couture Armani look that, upon first glance, looks like another chic cutout jumpsuit. I love the gathering around the neckline and the way the top falls on Taylor just as it does on its runway counterpart.

In retrospect, I really appreciate the artful way her hair is being blown to cover the right side of her face and expose the dangling cross earring in her left ear as it’s a great highlight of that entire side of her body and creates a strong line sight from the earring to the jumpsuit’s puffy shoulder detail to the cutout detail at the waist.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After-Party | London, England | December 2, 2014

Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture

Now this is much more like it.

While I am definitely more partial to the runway styling which included a lighter, silver heel, a belt and lighter make-up, I consider this grown-up version of her Winter Whites Reem Acra gown to be a vast improvement over her J. Mendel red carpet mini dress.

It’s a futuristic ice princess kind of sexy with the way the diamonds are laid out on a nude overlay combined with the white sleeve and thigh-high slit.

Plus Tay is rocking the hell out of it.

Worn with: Borgioni + Sethi Couture + Luna Rossa jewelry and Jimmy Choo sandals

I indeed do still find myself partial to the runway styling, even now. Though I don’t think I would have minded Taylor’s chosen heels as much if they were a lighter shade of gray/silver to better complement the winter white of the gown.
