Had this been a mini dress with an open back, the top paired with the pants in a slimmer silhouette and strappy gold heels I may have liked it more though I don’t dislike it as much as last year’s outing and can certainly appreciate the risk factor she took here.

As is, the only thing I can truthfully say is that the best thing that Taylor wears here is her confidence.

Taylor’s joggers and crop top are off-runway options from the Fall 2015 collection by Ashish.

The last award show Taylor attended was the MuchMusic Video Awards back in June. She debuted a sexy new look in an amazing Hervé Léger bandage mini dress. The trend continued tonight but in the form of a gown.

J. Mendel Spring 2012

Wow. That’s all I can say.

I might be one of few but I loved this look from Taylor. With the exception of her shoes, there was not a sparkle in sight. She looked sleek, mature, put together and sexy. Which is a rare adjective I get to use for Taylor but she rocked it tonight from one of her favourite designers: J. Mendel.

Deeply apologetic for the poor quality of the KF photo but really all that matters here is Actual Perfect Hair Taylor Swift.

Also a fun trip down memory lane, earlier in the evening Taylor played style correspondent on the red carpet wearing a different dress and flats to accomodate then-boyfriend Joe Jonas.
