Burberry ‘The Bridle Bag’ – $2,150.00

When I first got the news on Friday that Taylor’s gorgeous bag (though we are subjected to sparse side glimpses of it from this candid) was by Burberry, I got a few heart palpitations as I have some personal love and memories for the brand.

It would also figure that Taylor Swift would be able to get her hands on a bag that hasn’t even hit the runway yet.

Burberry was kind enough to share their new campaign images with me and all you TSS-ers! The bag made its official debut during London Fashion Week at Burberry’s Spring 2017 runway show.

I’m sure it also brings back memories for long-term TSS-ers who recall Taylor’s early love for Ralph Lauren saddle bags of a similar style.

Aquazzura ‘Issa Suede and Leather Platform Sandals’ – $239.00

The fierceness of these shoes is so extremely real I can barely handle it. They were the perfect finisher to the outfit and are the source of that 70s vibe that I mentioned in previous posts due to the inclusion of brown suede.

Aquazzura ‘Issa Suede and Leather Platform Sandals’ – $239.00

Michael Kors ‘56mm Abela II Gradient Sunglasses’ – $159.00

Yep, more Michael Kors! I do love this pair of cateye sunglasses, it’s a great change from her preferred Wayfarer silhouette and adds even further to the overall 70s vibe of the outfit.

Urban Outfitters ‘Flirt With Me Seamed Skirt in Maroon’ – $49.00 $29.99

Updated this skirt with the proper exact! While extremely similar to her ‘Jacy’ skirt from Brandy Melville, this is actually Taylor’s UO skirt. Because a girl can never have too many burgundy skirts, can she.

Now, we’re talking. 

The combination of colours, the fierceness she’s bringing with the berry lip and oversized sunnies, the way that the colour palette and suede inclusion lightly plays on the latest 70s trend without looking too costume-y.
