1989 Tour | Surprise Song/”Clean”/”Love Story” | [6/11]

Though short-lived, Taylor briefly wore this custom set by designer Jessica Jones for the first few shows of the 1989 Tour for her acoustic set on the b-stage.

It was soon after replaced by the crystal-trim white co-ord and thigh-high boots ensemble.

Stuart Weitzman ‘AllLegs Thigh High Boots’ – $798.00

Taylor truly represents Stuart Weitzman on the tour, wearing footwear near-exclusively by the brand. In addition to several custom pairs of the shoemaker’s “Gran” booties, Taylor’s “AllLegs” suede thigh highs were also customized to include a small platform and almond toe.

What first began as an outfit Taylor wore solely for “I Know Places” and “All You Had To Do Was Stay” has quickly grown to be Taylor’s longest-wearing costume on the tour.

After getting rid of her original b-stage ensemble (another Jessica Jones custom two-piece), Taylor now wears this crystal-trim and garter set for her surprise acoustic song set as well as “Clean”, “Love Story” and acts as one of her Surprise Guest outfits.

This is also the only outfit on the tour that Taylor does not have alternate versions of.

Chances are, when Taylor wears a checked shirt, it’s by the comfy brand Rails. She continued this streak in an adorable outfit from last night’s Loft. Nice to see her turning off the co-ord switch for something different with the change of season.
