Burberry London ‘Fur Collar Coat’ – no longer available

Taylor brought in the new year in Times Square with Harry Styles following her performance for Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve wearing this modified Burberry – of course – coat. She swapped out the fur collar for an embellished one.

Taylor frequented this luxury British brand only while she was dating Harry Styles.

What is your favorite and least favorite thing about running this blog?

Hah! I think my least favourite would be answering questions that are in the FAQ. Because really? The ask box is right above the FAQ for a reason.

But, I mean, when I put it into perspective, if my biggest complaint about running this blog is that people who like my site enough want to ask me a question and are requesting more information about my site then do I really have much to complain about? Answer: No.

Obviously my favourite part is the amazing people who follow the site because honestly you guys are all so incredibly wonderful and smart. I get so many submissions, suggestions and fashion-related questions from you guys. As well as the sweetest messages ever saying that you check the site every day, you’re inspired by my work enough to make your own blog or that the work I do here has influenced your own style. Like that’s just amazing to me?

Another amazing thing about this blog is the opportunities it’s created for me. It’s a big part of how I got an online fashion internship as well as an internship working at my local newspaper (I’m a journalism student). So. The pluses have by far and away outweighed any – small – … non-pluses.

I have been working on TSS for a year now (my old blog was taylorswift-fashion), and for me I would say there really aren’t many negatives.  Mostly, I have learned that it takes a lot of discipline to run a blog. It has been hard lately for me because of study abroad, but the positives are amazing! For example, I met Sarah! And I love talking to you guys about fashion…and Taylor…and tumblr (three of my true loves!).  You guys have just been so amazing to us, letting us keep this blog up and running.  I also hope that this blog brings along some new opportunities outside of tumblr, because I would LOVE to do something with fashion when I graduate from my university.

It takes work everyday, but I love you guys, and fashion, and Taylor, so it doesn’t get much better than this!

Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 RTW

I think I’m in love.

After a slew of red carpet appearances in angelic white, Taylor kept her promise that her appearance at this year’s BRIT Awards would be the devilish darkside to her last few performances.

She looks sexy and mature in this dual-slit black gown by one of her favourite designers: Elie Saab.

Worn with: Giuseppe Zanotti sandals

Catherine Deane Spring 2013 ‘Ophira Dress’

Last year Taylor brought the house down at the American Music Awards when she performed “I Knew You Were Trouble.“ for the first time ever. The performance featured one of Taylor’s signature on-stage costume changes where she switched from this Catherine Deane Spring 2013 gown to a custom costume by Marina Toybina.
