I think that it’s important style-wise, sound-wise, lyrically, to change and to grow. And one thing that has been really important to me is to grow up naturally.

I put out my first album when I was 16 and I’ve always worn a considerable amount of clothing. I’m not much for nudity or showing too much. Because I just don’t necessarily feel like it’s necessary. But if there’s a dress that I feel is incredibly fashionable and it’s a little more low-cut, I’m 23 and I feel like it’s okay to wear that.

If I want to wear shorts on-stage, one time I wore shorts on stage for the first time and the press articles were like ‘Taylor gets edgy’. And I’m like … I’m wearing shorts. So sometimes you feel like it’s a little bit too speculated on. But I think taking little chances and risks is important.

Christian Louboutin ‘Dufoura Sandal’ – $1195.00

Way to amp it up! I’m always a big supporter of when Taylor takes risks on the red carpet. She accessorized her modern look in Madrid with these futuristic block heels by Christian Louboutin.

Worn with: Kaufman Franco dress

What’s your favorite fashion blogs hun? :3

I don’t follow too many fashion blogs online. My one exception is Tanesha Awasthi’s Girl With Curves. I feel like she sets a brilliant example of how fashion is something creative and all of its rules should be broken.

I do, however, obsessively follow the major runways off Style and Vogue and I’m always interested in what RCFA has to say about celebs outfits.

Primarily, though, I’m a journalism student and fashion intern so I have subscriptions out to a massive list of magazines. My favourites would be Flare, Allure, Marie Claire, Elle and I have a soft spot for Nylon

– Sarah

I read two fashion blogs regularly: behindtheseams and Atlantic-Pacific.

Like Sarah, I also follow runways off Style and Vogue. I also enjoy browsing Pantone’s color palettes (because of my interest in graphic design) and comparing them to the runway.

The two fashion magazines I read constantly are Elle and Nylon.

Rag & Bone ‘Ruby Dress’ – $576.88 (40% off!)

After a bit of a drought it’s great seeing Taylor back in the promotion circuit.

In a similar vein to her David Koma dress during the Z100 Jingle Ball, I’m a fan of how Taylor has incorporated a subtle but sexy leather insert trend and managed to keep it classy with her usual a-line silhouette in a demure black.
