In the Red Photo shoot, Taylor is wearing black high-waist shorts, but do you by any chance know what shirt she’s wearing? The black and white striped one. Also, in her Mean music video, when she’s tied with ropes and sitting on the train tracks, she wears this white and black dress. Do you know what it is? Thanks!

We haven’t yet found the striped shirt from Taylor’s RED shoot but I did just post Taylor’s dress from the “Mean” set up here for you =)

Hey, thanks for answering my question about your personal styles! Sorry I’m anon, I don’t have a tumblr. I just wanted to mention in the Get The Look post where you recommend the ModCloth Retro Rosie earrings, they have coral-coloured ones as well that seem to match Taylor’s better. I would have thought they were the exact ones, actually, except the shape seems a bit off. (I can’t link them here, but just search Retro Rosie.) Thanks and keep it up! Hi Anon! I’m so glad you’ve stuck around since that ask was sitting in our askbox for over a month! It just got lost in the shuffle so I apologize for that. It really means a lot that you follow this blog, even without an account. 

Funnily enough, I posted a Get the Look featuring those coral earrings earlier during Taylor’s Youtube and Google+ webcast.

Ah! I love this question. And I’d love to know what your guys’, as people who are interested in fashion, everyday styles are and if you’re inspired by this blog or Taylor’s wardrobe in general. 

For me, when I was younger I was on a strict wardrobe of band shirts, converse and skinny jeans. But, as I grew up, I really opened my eyes to the world of fashion. Nowadays my style mostly consists of jeans and cute tops (I’m in love with the peplum silhouette this season) with flats or boots. Otherwise, I’m a huge fan of dresses paired with heeled boots or wedges (all the benefits of a heel, but the surface area of a shoe). I tend to belt pretty much everything I own to accentuate my waist since I’m fairly small up top and curvy on the bottom. I’d probably say my style now is modern and sexy. My jewelry is minimal and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t inspired by Taylor with my make-up since my go-to, everyday daily look is a winged liner, full lashes and red lips. For my own twist, I add on shimmery bronzer to my cheekbones.

Out of all my friends, I am the one who knows all the trends months in advance.  I love following fashion trends, and I have pretty good fashion instincts, but on a day to day basis I go for comfort. I’m a classic jeans and t-shirt kind of girl. I went through some um…interesting…fashion phases growing up that consisted of me solely wearing basketball shorts and t-shirts.  Now I stick to basics.  Autumn is when my somewhat fashionable side comes out- I have an unhealthy obsession with riding boots and cozy sweaters.  I love unexpected, subtle details- like an open back or side cut-outs. Everything I post on my personal tumblr is my style!

I love keeping up with taylor’s fashion i started following your blog since the one i followed before is now combined with you, but I think the comments are kind of rude sometimes. Taylor doesn’t have to progress in outfits. she can wear what she wants and feels comfortable in. It doesn’t make your blog look professional when you make criticisms like that. you might want to keep those on your personal

In a way I can definitely respect that, but there’s a spot for criticism in the professional world and I’ve been told previously by many followers that my opinions and commentary on what I personally think about Taylor’s fashion adds a dimension to something that would otherwise just be a fashion identification blog. I love Taylor, but above all else, I love fashion and style period and I think it’s a nice change of pace when a blogger doesn’t call every single thing Taylor does phenomenal or amazing or beautiful or perfect or wonderful. 

However, if there are others who feel the same, then it’s definitely something I will work on in the future. 

I’m really glad you’re a follower, though, and I’m sure my lovely co-owner Anna appreciates it as well.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think Sarah should be allowed to post her opinions. I know I do not post my opinions- but that is just my blogging style. You may not agree with what Sarah says, but you should keep an open mind. It is a good thing to listen to other people’s perspectives- even if you do not agree with what they believe. That is all I have to say about that because I do not want to have drama on our blog-ever. This should be a place for Taylor fans to connect, not argue.
