The Eras Tour | RED section

Ashish custom

This jumpsuit and matching duster are beautiful and up there in my Top 3 favourite outfits from this tour.

The execution of the ombre is fantastic. And it’s subtle but I love the fact that the duster is notably a duster coat with a pointed collar. It could have been a shawl collar or an unstructured cardigan but the addition of the collar gives it a distinct jacket/polished/boss energy and I am here for it.

Also again the continued usage of outerwear to change a look easily and quickly.

You may recognize this designer as the original source of the “Not A Lot Going On” sequin tee that gets riffed on elsewhere in the tour wardrobe here from the “22” music video.

Ashish Sequin Tee – custom

If you were wondering why this outfit worked so seamlessly to mimic the high waisted shorts of the RED Era, it’s because Taylor’s red ombre bodysuit (worn underneath here) were designed perfectly to look like a regular pair of shorts. This is stage designing at its smartest because it makes the following quick change incredibly easy.

It’s also so heartwarming to see Taylor intentionally bring back the same designer of this original tee – and have fun with a cheeky self reference that there is, in fact, a lot going on at the moment.

Worn with: Gladys Tamez hat, Ashish bodysuit, and Christian Louboutin oxfords
