Hervé Léger Pre-Fall 2013

A year ago, somebody asked me if there was a designer I thought that Taylor would never wear. At the time I said I didn’t want to rule anything out, but I didn’t think Hervé Léger’s trademark bandage dress would ever find its way into Tay’s closet.

Oh how young and naive I was. 

The second I saw those trademark wrappings on the skirt of this dress — which Taylor even had shortened! — I knew it was Hervé. I’m in love with this look head to toe. Taylor looks amazing, svelte and sexy.

Emilio Pucci custom gown

Normally when one sees the name ‘Pucci’, images of sexy printed mini dresses come to mind. But leave it to Taylor to find the most angelic chiffon gown to wear from this bombshell brand. That is until you view the dress from behind – check out that open back!

While I’m not really in love with the look — it’s a little ‘been there, done that’ — I am loving that topknot I’ve been waiting to see ever since she cut her bangs over a year ago.

Worn with: Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and René Caovilla sandals

52nd Annual Grammys Pre-Telecast | Los Angeles, CA | January 31, 2010 

Dolce & Gabbana Resort 2008 

Taylor looked lovely during the Grammy pre-show telecast wearing a ruched mauve mini dress by D&G adapted from the Resort 2008 runway. The crystal straps and bustier bodice remain intact while the skirt was swapped for a plain, flowing chiffon and a tonal satin belt added.

CMT Music Awards | Nashville, TN | June 5, 2013

Jimmy Choo ‘Fauna Peep Toe Booties’ – $1250.00

Big points to Taylor for switching it up and opting for these nude suede and lace peep toe booties by her favoured shoe brand instead of a simple pair of pumps or slingbacks like she usually goes for.

That being said, I don’t think that these booties were necessarily the best choice with this dress.
