My very first thought when I saw the pics of Taylor partying it up last night was, “Girl looking good in Balmain.”

The fashion house was totally all over this outfit, given the innate sexiness and golden detailing. 

The brand confirmed via Instagram that the look was inspired from their Resort 2016 outfit. Specifically, the pictured ‘Strapless Chainmail Mini Dress’ which retails on their website for €12,810.00.

Balmain Fall 2015

I always get a little bit of excitement seeing Taylor wearing Balmain in photoshoots. Here, she took this striped coat one step further by doing away with the jumpsuit underneath and wearing it off-the-shoulder.

So far this year, Taylor has worn a Balmain jumpsuit at the Billboard Awards and a checked pair of their pants in the June issue of Glamour U.K. — both from the brand’s Spring 2015 collection.

Balmain Spring 2015

At this point, I’m nearly 80% convinced that Taylor Swift actually reads TSS because I’ve been talking about her wearing Balmain (or Versace or Cushnie et Ochs) on the red carpet for months and here she is wearing one of their jumpsuits. 

I love the smoky eye and pretty lip here and don’t mind her messy, textured bob here. I’m also grateful that in terms of styling things were kept to a minimum as a necklace or cuffs would have been unnecessary and distracting from the statement of the jumpsuit.

On the cover of Grazia Taylor stoically wears a knitted crop top from Balmain’s collection. 

Having revered this brand and their sexy take on military silhouettes, I never imagined Taylor wearing a piece from them. Cue me being extremely pleased and surprised when she did in this spread.

Balmain Resort 2015

Balmain is an extremely intimidating brand to wear as they don’t often lend their clothes out to anyone (Kardashians excluded). I think Taylor brings so much justice to the brand’s sexy trademark with this Resort ensemble.
