Halpern ‘Sequinned Cold Shoulder Mini Dress’ – $1,498.00 $598.00

Had Taylor worn this to an actual photographed event I would probably be judging it more harshly. But given that it was worn to a private, fun party where being over-the-top and a little frivolity was welcomed with the guest subset, I can go much easier on this. 

My preference would still be to remove the sleeves entirely as they drag the outfit down. Much like, in my opinion, the Jonathan Simkhai dress she wore on Ellen did.

Kat Maconie ‘Pammy Platform Sandals’ – $360.00

As some of you may know, I am a lover of ankle strap heels. 

As some of you may also know, I am not a lover of platform heels. 

So where does my heart stand on these platform ankle strap heels? 

… Kinda love them. And they’re just one part of an equation that I would like to refer to as a perfectly coordinated outfit. It balances saccharine without being too sweet, fun without being too twee, and is era on brand. What do you think?
