If Taylor is in this area attending the event she’s rumoured to be (a very close friend’s wedding) then this is incredibly chic wedding guest attire. She looks just lovely and also doesn’t it feel wildly long overdue to see her in something from the cult fave ‘Nap’ collection from Hill House?

Looking like a breezy breath of fresh air in eyelet linen. The matching set for Taylor has become synonymous with the 1989 era as that’s the time period when she really leaned in to the power and convenience of a co-ordinating crop top and skirt. The noticeable shifts here to present day include a longer length of skirt (her past self would have opted for a flippy skater-style mini) and minimalist flats (a teetering pair of 6” heels would have been her previous M.O. accessory).

I also love the choice of the sleek pony which contributes to the overall feeling of ‘freshness’.

Backstage prior to kicking off her set at China’s huge Double 11 Gala, she wore a refined version of a look we would have been more likely to have seen during her 1989 days: A matching co-ord set. Sparkly as is her go-to, I wish this was either a full dress or her midriff had been exposed as the intended design for a break between the top and skirt.
