FAVOURITE OUTFITS OF 2018: TAYLOR SWIFT STYLE

I think now more than ever I’ve really come to realize how much the voice of TSS-ers has come to mean to me and how so decisively it’s you amazing people who sets this platform apart and has made it what it is. 

I’m super excited to hear about your favourite outfits of the year and have also opted to make it even easier to choose your favourite candid (last year it was a write-in system, this year we’ve got PICTURES people).

Given we had a lack of choices in some categories, voting is whittled down to the below categories:

  • Favourite Award Outfit
  • Favourite Tour Outfit
  • Favourite Candid

The survey will be open until DECEMBER 30 AT 11 P.M. (PST)

While it has always been tradition for me to count down my favourite outfits on New Year’s Eve, this year’s edition will be particularly special (and hopefully particularly active) given how many TSS-ers I am assuming have casually opted out of New Year’s parties to host one at home, in front of your viewing device of choice, to watch the Reputation Stadium World Tour documentary premiere on Netflix. I know I will.

Favourite Outfits of 2015: tayswiftstyle.com

Wow. December really pulled a fast one on me. I can’t believe it’s already that time of year where I look back on Taylor’s fashion and pick my favourites for the fourth time!

While a lot of this year was spent with Taylor on tour and the majority of outfits we received were taken backstage during Loft ‘89s or Meet & Greets, Taylor still found a way to leave her mark on the sidewalk and red carpet.

It was another year of experimentation and one that spoke less of cohesion and more of trying out as many things as possible. Whether it was unexpected colour combinations, new choices in bags and shoes, as well as new brands coming into play. 2015 was a year for the new and exciting – to varying levels of success.

With 2015 drawing itself to a close, of course, it wouldn’t be a year-end list without me telling you guys that the thing I’m most grateful for from the past year hasn’t been slaying outfits or new music videos, it’s been you guys and your undying support. Finding ways to talk to you, be part of your lives in even the smallest of ways, and deepening the connection that I think TSS has forged has been the best part of all of this. Thank you so much for being there to enjoy, analyze and critique every outfit of Taylor’s this year, past years, and (hopefully) in future years. Thank you so much.

Now let’s get this list started.

Favourite Outfits of 2015: tayswiftstyle.com

Favourite Outfits of 2014: tayswiftstyle.com

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I did this last time! This will be my third time counting down my favourite outfits from the last year and I think this has been the most exciting year thus far.

With an unprecedented amount of candids (the most Taylor has ever done), a new approach to life and love as well as an album to promote, I don’t think Taylor’s style has ever been discussed or changed. This year, Taylor began seriously experimenting with new silhouettes and introduced the crop top over the summer. Baring her midriff on the sidewalk also jumped over into some of her red carpet looks as well. Her candids have had an increasing combination of sexy, young, girly, schoolgirl as well as nods to her retro flair through her accessories, beauty looks and colour palettes.

I also just want to quickly add as the end of year approaches that for the millionth time I can’t thank you guys enough for all your support this year. TSS is the reason I got to meet Taylor and I think you guys are an integral part of what makes this site what it is. Hearing from you, talking to you and sharing in our excitement and love about Taylor and her style has been one of the greatest joys I have ever experienced. So thank you!
