Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture

Now this is much more like it.

While I am definitely more partial to the runway styling which included a lighter, silver heel, a belt and lighter make-up, I consider this grown-up version of her Winter Whites Reem Acra gown to be a vast improvement over her J. Mendel red carpet mini dress.

It’s a futuristic ice princess kind of sexy with the way the diamonds are laid out on a nude overlay combined with the white sleeve and thigh-high slit.

Plus Tay is rocking the hell out of it.

Worn with: Borgioni + Sethi Couture + Luna Rossa jewelry and Jimmy Choo sandals

J. Mendel Spring 2015

Taylor rocked a strapless, sparkly dress by J. Mendel from the latest Spring collection. If you’ll recall, I predicted/wanted Taylor to wear a different strapless mini from this collection for the AMAs. 

Considering how different and gothically beautiful her long sleeve sequinned Zuhair Murad dress was at last year’s VSFS I’m a little disappointed by this since it’s a little been there done that, especially for Taylor who used to frequent these dresses a lot in her early-20s. 

Worn with: Sethi Couture earrings + Jack Vartanian + Antonini jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels

J. Mendel Spring 2015

Taylor rocked a strapless, sparkly dress by J. Mendel from the latest Spring collection. If you’ll recall, I predicted/wanted Taylor to wear a different strapless mini from this collection for the AMAs.

Marc Jacobs ‘Crushed Velvet Mini Dress with Swarovski Crystal Neckline’ – $3800.00

On the cover of Lucky Taylor wears this super cute mini dress with a stunning display of crystals at the neckline by Marc Jacobs. 

I happen to really love the styling here and would wear something similar — an LBD that’s got a little extra something to it, porkpie hat and cool leather jacket with a pair of knee-highs and ankle boots for a cute-meets-edgy look. 

Taylor also happens to wear another look from this same Resort 2015 collection in her spread for Wonderland.
