ModCloth ‘You’re Inn Luck Dress’ – $155.99

The return of ModCloth! For you longtime TSS-ers, you know that Taylor wore ModCloth dresses almost exclusively during the T-Parties from the Speak Now Tour (with a few frocks from Anthropologie thrown into the mix). Since then, we’ve seen her wear a string of Free People lace dresses.

So, while in San Antonio, seeing Tay wear this lovely floral dress by MC brought back a lot of memories from the previous tour.

Zuhair Murad Pre-Fall 2013

I am loving this amazing colour on Taylor! Usually she opts for red — obviously — when she tries colour, otherwise she’s decked out in various shades of gold or silver so this is a really great surprise!

I am loving this amazing colour on Taylor! Usually she opts for red — obviously — when she tries colour, otherwise she’s decked out in various shades of gold or silver so this is a really great surprise!

French Connection ‘Spot Mesh Dress’ – out of stock

After receiving a tipoff from the brand, it appears Taylor had this spot mesh dress by French Connection modified to remove the black panels on its sleeves. Its bodycon silhouette and sheer dot panelling remain intact, however.

2013 Met Costume Institute Gala | May 6, 2013

J. Mendel custom gown

As a guest of the designer and long-time wearer of the brand, Taylor unsurprisingly wore a J Mendel gown to tonight’s MET Costume Gala. What was surprising was how effectively Taylor took to the ‘PUNK: Chaos to Couture’ theme for tonight’s gala. 

Vamped, teased up hair — I spy a super cute pink streak! — edgy cut outs with cobweb lace, smoky eyes and a dark mani all add up to a punked out look.

I’m really glad Taylor showed up to the event this year since she missed out in 2012 — her 2011 J Mendel look is still one of the most memorable in my mind!
