Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 RTW

I think I’m in love.

After a slew of red carpet appearances in angelic white, Taylor kept her promise that her appearance at this year’s BRIT Awards would be the devilish darkside to her last few performances. 

She looks sexy and mature in this dual-slit black gown by one of her favourite designers: Elie Saab.

Performing at the American Music Awards | November 18, 2012

Catherine Deane Spring 2013 ‘Ophira Dress’

Last year Taylor brought the house down at the American Music Awards when she performed “I Knew You Were Trouble.” for the first time ever. The performance featured one of Taylor’s signature on-stage costume changes where she switched from this Catherine Deane Spring 2013 gown to a custom costume by Marina Toybina.

Last year Taylor brought the house down at the American Music Awards when she performed “I Knew You Were Trouble.” for the first time ever. The performance featured one of Taylor’s signature on-stage costume changes where she switched from this Catherine Deane Spring 2013 gown to a custom costume by Marina Toybina.

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards | Los Angeles, CA | February 10, 2013

J. Mendel Spring 2013 RTW – $5890.00

Looking like a grecian goddess, this gown by J Mendel was saved from being just another ivory chiffon confection in Taylor’s repertoire by that thigh-high slit and micro-bugle metallic straps that were custom-fitted on the plunging neckline for Tay’s version of the runway dress.

Taylor walked the GRAMMY red carpet after already picking up a gramophone for Best Song for Visual Media with “Safe & Sound” that was awarded during the GRAMMY pre-telecast.

Proenza Schouler Spring 2013 RTW

Photoprints on the Spring runways are old news, but the Proenza boys found a new way to stitch this abstract print together for their SS RTW collection.

Happily enough, they also cited online social media – like Tumblr – as a point of reference for the collection. Saying that its “random associations and the delight-producing effects of happenstance” heavily influenced the energy and forwardness of this line.

Regardless, Taylor rocks this collection with a high pony streaked with bubblegum pink, a high fashion pose and haughty expression fit for any model.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 RTW

Nothing excites me more than Taylor photo shoots because it’s like seeing Taylor play out the character and personality of a fashion director’s imagination.

In this case, Joe Zee’s vision was of an ultra mod 60s go-go girl. The styling for this shoot is like a haute couture Nylon-girl and I think it really suits Taylor’s willowy frame and doe eyes. 

Taylor made this look more demure and less voyeur by adding a nude slip underneath.
