Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 RTW

Nothing excites me more than Taylor photo shoots because it’s like seeing Taylor play out the character and personality of a fashion director’s imagination.

In this case, Joe Zee’s vision was of an ultra mod 60s go-go girl. The styling for this shoot is like a haute couture Nylon-girl and I think it really suits Taylor’s willowy frame and doe eyes. 

Taylor made this look more demure and less voyeur by adding a nude slip underneath.

Maria Bianca Nero dress – no longer available

Delivering one of my favourite covers (and general performances) of all time, Taylor looked very country girl sweet in a simple white dress by Maria Bianca with her go-to accessories of the time — a headband and cowgirl boots. 

This performance really solidified just how much better suited Taylor is to a lower register. Such a beautiful cover.

Maria Bianca Nero dress – no longer available

Delivering one of my favourite covers (and general performances) of all time, Taylor looked very country girl sweet in a simple white dress by Maria Bianca with her go-to accessories of the time — a headband and cowgirl boots. 

This performance really solidified just how much better suited Taylor is to a lower register. Such a beautiful cover.

Elie Saab Spring 2013 RTW

Taylor pulls short, sexy and plunging neckline once again. This time at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes. I think she looks great here, but it’s a little too reminiscent of her American Music Awards dress by Zuhair Murad.

I’m really digging how this look is simultaneously go-go dancer yet futuristic and modern. Also glad she kept the accessories to a minimum and let those shoes do all the talking; the PVC ankle strap is statement enough. 

I’m also really enjoying this décolletage theme Taylor’s building. A little cleavage, like her Ralph Lauren gown from the People’s Choice Awards, never did anyone harm.

In a similar vein to her David Koma dress during the Z100 Jingle Ball, I’m a fan of how Taylor has incorporated a subtle but sexy leather insert trend and managed to keep it classy with her usual a-line silhouette in a demure black.
