Jason Wu Spring 2010

This strapless mini dress – featuring a chantilly lace overlay and tulip skirt – didn’t appear in the runway of Jason Wu’s Spring 2010 collection but it did make it into Taylor’s Spring 2010-infused spread with Elle back in April 2010.

Worn with: Prada sandals

As one of the brand’s ambassadors, Taylor’s make-up for her Elle shoot was done by CoverGirl, making an at-home replication of her mod 60s make-up both easy and under budget.

  • Smooth your face out with a light foundation or tinted moisturizer to give yourself a clean blank canvas to work with. This look is meant to appear fresh and bright with your lower lash line as the focal point.
  • Using a black liquid liner, trace your upper lids from corner to corner, ending with a subtle downwards flick at the end.
  • Place the majority of your focus on emphasizing your bottom lashes with mascara and a sweep of slate-coloured eyeliner like CoverGirl’s perfect blend eyeliner beneath your bottom crease.
  • To make your eyes pop even further, fill in your waterline with a white eyeliner.
  •  Finish off with a simple nude lip using CoverGirl’s Queen Collection LipColor.
