Keds ‘Champion Navy’ – $45.00

Taylor of course finished her look off with a pair of navy Keds to perfectly match her floral dress.

I like the fact that she chose another shirtdress for this laidback occasion as anything more elegant would have paired oddly with her casual Keds.

Taylor attended a Style Icons event for Keds wearing this adorable navy and floral lace dress by OdlR.

Taylor has worn quite a few dresses by the elegantly feminine brand over the last few months.

Which one has been your favourite thus far?

Christian Louboutin ‘Hyper Privé Pump’ – sold out (patent leather)

Underneath her long hemline and train, I managed to get a glimpse of Taylor’s shoes. For the night she selected this platform pair of satin-covered Louboutin peep toes.

Edie Parker ‘Lara Clutch in Nude Pearlescent with Ice Ends’

While inside the Met Gala, Taylor was spotted taking pictures with many stars while holding on to this pearlescent clutch. If you’re a particularly dedicated TSS-er you may recognize this from two years ago when she first carried it at the Teen Choice Awards!

I think the ultra feminine clutch works well on both occasions. What do you think?

Lorraine Schwartz jewelry

Taylor left the embellishments on her gown to speak for themselves, selecting a pair of diamond rings and soft pink earrings by her fave jeweler Lorraine Schwartz to complement the colour of her dress perfectly.

Another sidenote here to Taylor’s glossy curls courtesy of her hair stylist Jemma Muradian and her beautiful glow and blushing cheeks by her makeup artist Lorrie Turk.

Oscar de la Renta custom gown

As revealed earlier today by Taylor herself on Twitter, she stepped out onto the red carpet wearing a custom pink gown featuring allover embellishments by Oscar de la Renta.

While the front featured a simple a-line silhouette, the real drama came from the dress’ long, sculptured train.

As with many of the gowns from tonight, I feel a little letdown by the dress. Taylor looks lovely, as usual, and I like the glossy but textured waves of her hair, her glowing, dewy skin and the way the bodice creates a deep cut in the back. However, this won’t go down as one of my favourite looks from her.

I’m at least glad to see Meredith didn’t rip it to shreds during the final fitting.

Update (Feb. 15): You can actually purchase an unembellished version of Taylor’s gown via My Theresa here for $8645.
