Silvertone ‘1959 604 Acoustic Guitar’ – no longer available

During the acoustic session at Long Pond, Taylor played this acoustic guitar that was gifted to her by her folklore collaborator Aaron Dessner. Aaron picked up the guitar originally from the Old Style Guitar Shop in Los Angeles and had it refitted with a rubber bridge.

Stella McCartney ‘Wool Coat’ – $1,146.00 (similar)

Taylor wears a version of another Stella McCartney coat first presented in the Pre-Fall 2020 collection. Taylor’s coat obviously differs firstly in colour and in length but the characteristic tab, collar, button, and herringbone print wool detail is echoed in another coat sent to retail and linked above.

Frye ‘Courtney Boot’ – $298.00 (no longer available)

Well this is quite the blast from the past. If you’ve been around since then, you may have recognize these lace up boots Taylor first introduced in late November 2013 and went on to wear a few more times throughout the New York Fashion Takeover of 2014 as well as a surprise appearance in 2016.

These boots with their rustic, worn, beautifully patinated leather charm perfectly fits with the laidback style of folklore.

Madewell ‘Slim Emmett Wide-Leg Crop Pants’ – ~~$88.00~~ $54.99 (15% off!)

Taylor executed a fun and rich mixture of fall colours into one single ‘fit. A deep purple hat, rust-toned pants, and velvet burgundy flats. Interestingly, I’ve found that Taylor’s propensity at unique colour palette development to be one of her style strengths. This iconic unconventional pairing from 2011 still lives rent free in my mind all these years later, for instance.
