13 Hour Meet & Greet | Nashville, TN | June 13, 2010

Christian Cota Spring 2010

As part of the 2010 CMA Music Festival, Taylor held an event to greet fans for thirteen hours at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Taylor actually extended the event for a total of 15 hours, just to make sure she could meet everyone.

For the event (and accompanying performances), Taylor wore this beautiful floral dress by Christian Cota.

Taylor’s dedicated to her fans has always been one of the strongest tenets of her career. The silhouette (thin strap, bustier top, flare skirt) is very signature of the time period this photo was taken (late Fearless, early Speak Now days).

Was anyone else also around during the 13 Hour Meet & Greet?

Get the look: Love Stitch, $39.97

Celebrating Father’s Day with her dad | New York City, NY | June 15, 2014

Thanks Lola!

Oscar de la Renta ‘Floral Pleated Dress’ – $3,390.00 $2,034.00 (40% off)

Taylor celebrated Father’s Day with her dad, Scott Swift, as well as her brother Austin in New York City. After spending her morning visiting the World Trade Center memorial, she did a quick change into this beautiful yellow floral dress by OdlR.

I love the asymmetrical hem, the way the neckline flatters her collarbones and of course how she looks like a ladylike ray of sunshine.

Worn with: Prada sandals

This midi length and almost vintage-style silhouette would certainly fall neatly into RED style. But the teetering Prada heels and bob are obvious indicators this was heading into 1989

Faith Connexion ‘Floral Silk Crepe Wrap Shirtdress’ – $2,085.00 $519.00

I think Taylor heard my cries after yesterday’s candid for a much more chic return to New York City. And boy did she serve it up. I’m absolutely living for everything this outfit is giving us. And if this signifies next era’s style … sign me the f*** up.

Worn with: Elie Saab sunglasses, Stella McCartney bag and Jimmy Choo boots

Without question one of Taylor’s best candids in recent memory. There’s nothing about the styling that I would change. The dress in conjunction with the breezy hair, oversized retro sunnies, and the suede OTK boots. This outfit was everything I had hoped that “TS7″ would become.

Get the look: Calvin Klein, $69.97

So so fresh faced! Also a perfect segue from Wednesday’s pink theme into today’s floral theme. Don’t you think? In retrospect, I appreciate the fresh and springy styling including two tones of blue/turquoise.

Get the look: Revolve, $43.00

2014 Met Costume Institute Gala | May 5, 2014

Oscar de la Renta custom gown

As revealed earlier today by Taylor herself on Twitter, she stepped out onto the red carpet wearing a custom pink gown featuring allover embellishments by Oscar de la Renta.

While the front featured a simple a-line silhouette, the real drama came from the dress’ long, sculptured train.

As with many of the gowns from tonight, I feel a little letdown by the dress. Taylor looks lovely, as usual, and I like the glossy but textured waves of her hair, her glowing, dewy skin and the way the bodice creates a deep cut in the back. However, this won’t go down as one of my favourite looks from her.

I’m at least glad to see Meredith didn’t rip it to shreds during the final fitting.

Update (Feb. 15): You can actually purchase an unembellished version of Taylor’s gown via My Theresa here for $8645.

Worn with: Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Edie Parker clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps
