The Eras Tour | folklore section | Version 2

Alberta Ferretti custom

Well we are certainly in for quite a ride with this tour if Taylor plans to continue to serve fresh versions of her looks. On Night 2 of Glendale, AZ Taylor switched up her goddess gown for her folklore set to this tiered, cream gown. The split sleeve details feel almost capelike, which I love. the flutter cap sleeve also feels simultaneously dainty and armour-like.

I think this could have made a stronger impact in a different colour.

The Eras Tour | evermore Section

Etro custom

It’s of zero surprise to me that this ruffled, tie-front dress that Taylor wears for the evermore section on tour is by Etro. You’ll recall me specifically name checking them as a point of reference for the designs of her folkmore sections as part of my TSS Predictions post. The Grammy performance really was a key jumping off point to nailing the bohemian goddess cottagecore look worthy of these albums visuals.

Christian Louboutin custom (similar pictured)

I love that these boots feel like a stylization on her earlier beloved cowboy boots.

Similar to the opening outfit boots, these appear to be based on the ‘Cate’ silhouette with the same allover crystal strass effect.

Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Betty Platform Sandals’ – $523.00

We just barely got a peek at Taylor’s platform Giuseppes last night, which were custom dyed to coordinate with her Roberto Cavalli two piece. That subtle folklore reference!

Christian Louboutin ‘Yazefine Platform Metallic Embellished Sandal’ – $2,495.00

A deceptive pair of Louboutins that are usually so distinctive by its red sole. This pair is from the Fall/Winter 2022 collection and instead of the typical red backing you would see on the platform heel, I like that the motif was relaxed here to emphasize the really intricate, almost fairylike, textured embellishments on the heel.

Paco Rabanne ‘Paillette Chainmail Sparkle Dress’ – $3,950.00

Who would have thought the first performance of the Midnights era would come at a The 1975 concert?

This is a classic Taylor performance outfit. Short, flirty, with a ton of sparkle to catch the stage lights. The chunky paillettes also feel like an in-line nod to the 70s style she’s been sporting lately and is a glammed up disco version of that.
