Isabel Marant ‘Caldes Sequined Embellished Chiffon Mini Dress’ – $2,990.00 $2,093.00

This 80s-inspired dress has a lot going for it. The ruffled hem, the large belt, and the almost Western-style yoke shape of the sequinned panel is a bit much for me. I can admit that this could be a great New Year’s Eve party dress in Nashville.

Gucci ‘Double Breasted Checked Floral Embroidered Blazer Jacket’ – $5,555.00 (sold out)

This outfit will undoubtedly find a place in my annual Favourite Outfits Of the Year list – so I was incredibly delighted to finally track down the check blazer she wears here: a sadly sold out Gucci piece. What’s even sadder is that we never got a look at the reverse of the blazer which includes a beautiful surprise fully embroidered floral back! Update 5/17: Dreams do come true thanks to the City Of Lover behind-the-scenes content. 

Personally finding myself loving everything about this outfit as it employs many tactics I (bias) work into my own wardrobe. I love a professional-looking ensemble to always have a bit of bite and to include a mixture of textures and materials. A slightly oversized menswear-like blazer is edged up significantly by a burgundy leather skirt. The play of colours here is distinctly fall and equal parts smoking and professional. 11/10, thank you.

Taylor’s much requested phone case appears to be an unreleased plain clear version of the Lover phone case in her store. The stickers adorning it (cats, naturally) are from a Japanese site and sadly discontinued.
