Bionda Castana ‘Langley Geometric Panel Sandal’ – £535.00 (navy)

Worn with: Zuhair Murad dress and Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewelry

Check out all the times Taylor has attended this event here.

Taylor gets major points from a shoe-game perspective for not opting for her usual Jimmy Choos or Louboutins. They’re no Giuseppe Zanotti’s (my preferred shoe designer of choice) but I’m so in love with these ankle-tie platforms and their interesting cutouts I’m willing to forgive just about anything at this point.

Would a delicate, thin-strap sparkly sandal have complemented her flounced mini dress better? Probably. But these are the most interesting pair of heels Taylor has worn in a long time so I’m not complaining.

Dolce & Gabbana ‘Sara Pebbled Frame Shoulder Bag’ – $2295.00

Even Taylor’s old Tod’s bag would have worked on this occasion. But I am grateful for her D&G bag as it adds an undoubted polished sophistication to any of her outfits.

Check out the multiple times Taylor has toted this bag here.

Worn with: Lanston tunic, Reformation skirt and Rag & Bone boots

Reformation ‘Storm Skirt’ – $138.00

What I originally thought was one seamless black dress upon closer inspection turned out to be a black shirt and skirt combo. It became apparent in other shots that it was this Reformation skirt by the slits near the hemline.

As someone who practically lives in dresses and basic, black circle skirts like this one I can attest to the fact that a simple a-line skirt is a must-have girly staple.

Worn with: Lanston tunic, Rag & Bone boots and Dolce & Gabbana bag

Also worn: That Awkward Moment after-party

Rag & Bone ‘Harrow Leather Ankle Boots’ – $495.00

Worn with: Lanston tunic, Reformation skirt and Dolce & Gabbana bag

Check out all the times Taylor has worn these boots here.

GET THE LOOK: For under >$55.00

Just when I thought Taylor was absolutely losing her shoe game she comes out and knocks this candid outfit right out of the park. I’m so overwhelmed by how mature, chic and statuesque she looks here I’m a little teary-eyed.

Okay, yes, that was overdramatic. But I’m so in love with these candids. She looks so put together and I’m actually in love with the monochrome all-black look and the pop of red via her shoes and lips here. I can see Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing this outfit that’s how envious this street-style is.

Anna Fiori ‘Red Leather Oxfords’ – $279.00 (AUD, in-store only)

I’m so excited to exclusively reveal to you TSS-ers the designer for Taylor’s red oxfords from a few days ago. They’re by Australian shoe designer Anna Fiori – you can check out her Facebook page here.

Worn with: Dolce & Gabbana bag

While this is definitely more of an attempt to colour coordinate her shoes into her wardrobe (in comparison to her yellow Charlotte Olympia flats) as they line up quite nicely with her lipstick I still think these shoes weren’t quite the right choice for this outfit.

She would have had much better success pairing this neutral-friendly outfit with a slimmer black oxford flat or her own pair of white Christian Louboutin oxford flats. Even this pair of TopShop oxfords she wore a few years ago would have made a lighter, more feminine and complementary choice.
