Tinseltown Denim overalls – no longer available

Taylor shocked me by wearing a pair of overalls today — a fairly unexpected style choice for her. While I love the styling akin to the lookbook, and she does make these overalls look good, I think a pair of her oxford flats would have been an equally solid shoe choice.

I also would have liked to have seen her slinging the Jimmy Choo ‘Rebel’ bag as a smaller, but still chic, shoulder accessory.

Worn with: Westward Leaning sunglasses, Topshop top, Gucci bag and Topshop boots

Balmain Spring 2015

At this point, I’m nearly 80% convinced that Taylor Swift actually reads TSS because I’ve been talking about her wearing Balmain (or Versace or Cushnie et Ochs) on the red carpet for months and here she is wearing one of their jumpsuits. 

I love the smoky eye and pretty lip here and don’t mind her messy, textured bob here. I’m also grateful that in terms of styling things were kept to a minimum as a necklace or cuffs would have been unnecessary and distracting from the statement of the jumpsuit.
