Did a pair of shoes seriously just make me emotional? 

Yes. Yes they did. 

I never thought these heels would see the light of day again, but they are coincidentally a pair I feel a strong connection to because Taylor first wore them on October 13, 2011 — the day that TSS was born. It was one of the first IDs I ever made and the fact that they are resurfacing for the first time four years later is just crazy to me!

I personally have been on the hunt for a bar necklace that can go with anything and everything so I was super pleased to see Taylor rocking one the other day. What’s even better? She had this one customized with the handwriting from her album 1989.

Performing “Ghost Town” with Madonna | iHeartRadio Music Awards | March 29, 2015

Gibson ‘J-180 Acoustic Guitar’ – $3049.00 (Bille Joe Armstrong version)

During last night’s performance I was quite intrigued by what seemed like a new addition to Taylor’s guitar roster (looking forward to seeing what she brings to the table instrument-wise on the 1989 World Tour!).

While it’s common knowledge that Taylor’s preferred acoustic guitar brand is Taylor Guitars it’s also not out of the norm for her to pick up a Gibson. But this one is apparently actually Madonna’s and Taylor borrowed it for the performance. 

Note: I’m no guitar expert and I’m still tracking down the exact model as this one differs from the standard J-180 as this one lacks the double pickguards normally seen on most models. It has been noted that Madonna has played the Everly Brothers LImited Edition version of this guitar.

Gibson ‘J-180 Acoustic Guitar’ – $3049.00 (Bille Joe Armstrong version)

Greg Lauren ‘Destroyed Tango Dress’ – no listing available 

Taylor’s corset and lace dress is by Greg Lauren. I really dig the rocker chick vibe from this look and it’s almost a sexier, five shots in a bar grown up version of her “All Too Well” RED Tour look. 

According to the brand, Taylor’s dress was artfully destroyed using paint, ink, cigarettes, coffee and fire. I told you it was a hardcore dress. 

Also? I want to let Taylor know that her speech accepting Artist of the Year made me cry. It’s true, darling. We have all never ever felt closer to you and I know that all of us feel happier and more loved than we have ever felt knowing that you are in our lives. Really, truly in our lives. Not just your music, not just your words, but you. And knowing that is absolutely everything. There aren’t enough madly scribbled notes on the backs of New York maps that I could leave you to let you know how much you mean to us. So thank you for everything. We appreciate you. The adoration. Is. Mutual.
