This iconic performance at the 2008 ACMs had a little bit of everything. An onstage costume change, a key change, rain! Many elements of this performance eventually went on to become a part of the theatricality on the Fearless Tour.

As was customary back in the day, Taylor drew a heart onto her left foot with a sharpie while wearing one of her then-favourite pairs of heels.

Badgley Mischka Fall 2008

The Met Gala is probably my favourite fashion event of the year and Taylor glittered at the 2008 ball in a Badgley Mischka gown. The theme that year was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy which I don’t think Taylor exactly hit, but at least she was sparkling and pretty.
