So, I may have missed the plum lipstick and black maxi slip dress I predicted over on the questions blog — @taylorswiftstylequestions — but the “dripping in diamonds” thing? Yeah. I think I got that part. 

Taylor’s long-time red carpet jewelry provider came through in a big way for Taylor as they confirmed via Instagram that this scene featured their diamonds. And lots of them.

Perhaps to shun predictability, Taylor’s Neil Lane jewels at the CMA 2012′s didn’t mirror the red floral design of her Jenny Packham gown. Instead, a simple pair of small diamond earrings that did mimic a floral pattern and a single blue stone statement ring studded with rubies finished off her simple jewels.
