For her first time in attendance at the American Music Awards Taylor represented the country genre in this black halter dress by Catherine Malandrino. By pairing it with sheer black tights and matching cowgirl boots Taylor made this a ‘country in the city’ red carpet look.

Dressed up like a prom queen in yet another Sandi Spika custom gown, Taylor accepted the prestigious ‘Best New Artist Award’ which was then recognized as the ‘Horizon Award’.
Upon winning the award, Taylor delivered probably my favourite acceptance speech ever from her. Saying that winning the Horizon was “definitely the highlight of [her] senior year” in between cries of joy.
