Stella McCartney ‘Kerry Wool Coat’ – $1,695.00

Taylor’s exact coat appears to come from Stella’s Pre-Fall collection or some off-runway custom variation for her as the version that ultimately went to retail has a silhouette more akin to a shirt jacket.

Taylor reaaallly leaned into her “British-ness” for this lewk and I love the combination of colours and prints.

What really drives home the sense of satisfaction? The fact that I predicted Taylor wearing this look for her Sundance Film Festival appearance.

Free People ‘Rodeo Renegade Dress’ – $148.00

I almost got a brief Faith Connexion vibe from this dress given the waist-tie detail which was so common amongst those pieces back in the reputation days. But, of course, this is another FP piece for Taylor.

Worn with: Cole Haan oxfords

Free People ‘Lux Velvet Shirt Dress’ – $198.00

The only non-surprising thing about the beautiful trailer released today is that Taylor is wearing Free People in it.

I believe it was some months ago that I voiced a longing for something akin to Miley Cyrus’ Backyard Acoustic sessions where folklore was played live in a beautiful, intimate way – given it was an album that felt so fitting to that. And now here we are!

I think this is the content I’ve been hungering for and I’m so excited to see these songs come to life in a vulnerable, cozy way with the people who helped Taylor create this stunning piece of art and to also learn more from Taylor about the process of making folklore. This was absolutely the perfect way of honouring the album while also staking her claim for her Grammy nominations 😉
