I love the styling choices in the “Anti-Hero” music video to create very distinct and recognizably separated ‘personas’ through her styling. In direct contrast to the almost caricatured glam manifestation of her greatest insecurities, this Taylor is cozier, undone. In designer sneakers, of course.

Reformation ‘Cashmere Polo Sweater’ – $168.00

For me, one of the most fun things about album rollout is picking up repeat patterns and motifs in Taylor’s fashion. The items and silhouettes and little details that feel special to that era and to that time. For RED it might be a kitten heel. For 1989 it’s probably a crop top. You get the gist.

Sometimes those elements aren’t as seamless in transitioning to a ‘normal persons’ wardrobe in their everyday life. But as someone who has always loved a blazer, loved structure, loved the polish of an oxford button up, or the strong lapel of a coat—the recurring detail of collars in her Midnights fashion in so many different ways has been so fun to see continue to crop up.
