Oscar de la Renta ‘Asymmetrical Chain Strap Stretch Wool Jumpsuit’ – $2,990.00

I don’t mean to toot my own horn but that was conceivably the fastest ID job I’ve ever done. 

Toot toot. 

Anyway! 

Some may question how a jumpsuit that could run the risk of Taylor Almost-Six-Feet-Tall Swift look short could be in existence. And as much as a true full-length, red carpet kissing hem of these pants been fun, the shorter true ankle length let those golden ankle strap (YES!!!) sandals shine. 

The styling (again, can we talk about the ankle strappy sandals) are the perfect complements to the jumpsuit and correlate nicely with the “edge” effect of the asymmetrical chain details. The spinning, swirling ear climber + upper helix cuff and braided ponytail add super fresh and unexpected details. 

Everything about this, to me, feels modern and elegant and age appropriate. 

Worn with: Ana Khouri earrings and Sergio Rossi sandals

Oscar de la Renta dress – no listing available

Through confirmation of the brand I can post that Taylor’s dress seen here with a contrast check top and knit skirt with a cute waist tie is by Oscar de la Renta. Taylor is pictured above wearing the dress while leaving her appearance of the Late Show with David Letterman. She wore it while filming a web chat with Scholastic.

It’s a cute enough dress and I like that it’s knitted considering it was October in NYC when she wore it but I’m unsure of the shoes. A pair of navy pumps or even the same shade of red but in a different shoe silhouette may have been a better pick for me.

Oscar de la Renta dress – no listing available

Through confirmation of the brand I can post that Taylor’s dress seen here with a contrast check top and knit skirt with a cute waist tie is by Oscar de la Renta. Taylor is pictured above wearing the dress while leaving her appearance of the Late Show with David Letterman. She wore it while filming a web chat with Scholastic.

Oscar de la Renta ‘Metallic Dégradé Dress’ – $2290.00

Taylor sparkled in a navy ombre-glitter dress by Oscar de la Renta as she made her way to the BBC Radio 1 Studios for a morning interview in the lead-up to her performance at this year’s Brits. 

I like the colour but I’m not sure about the pairing with the shoes or the lip.  

Taylor later added an ASOS coat to this outfit. 

Worn with: Dana Rebecca + Melissa Kaye jewelry and Prada pumps

Oscar de la Renta ‘Printed Cotton and Silk Blend Dress’ – $2790.00

As is considered appropriate when attending a designer’s fashion show, Taylor wore a different printed version of this sleeveless Oscar de la Renta dress. 

I know that a frequent comment amongst TSS-ers is that ’#Taylor wears it better than the model’ but in some of the original side shots, the way this dress fit Taylor almost made the dress look like a tight-fitting drop-waist and I quite liked it. 

It’s also nice to see Taylor rocking a lighter eye look and rounding out her beauty with a pink lip.

Taylor later wore a Max Mara coat over top of this dress.

Worn with: Christian Louboutin pumps

Besides both of them looking hot as hell and like they’re walking away from a dramatic car explosion, this set up was particularly touching for me as both Taylor and Karlie were fans of Oscar’s up until his passing last year. 

There are also a few more connections to this particular collection that Karlie and Taylor have. In December, Taylor wore another dress from this collection and Karlie actually walked the runway for this collection and was the finale look. 

Karlie is wearing Look 44 from this same collection.
