Last June when Taylor performed at the CMT Music Awards she also premiered the first major performance of then-single (and album namesake) “Red”.
With the long swishing train and shorts combination reminiscient of her “The Lucky One” outfit and a sparkly bustier similar to the “You Belong With Me” costume, I love the definitive styling of the RED era across all parts of her performing.

For her debut performance for the iconic New Year’s Eve production show, I felt so bad for Taylor who shed her peacoat to reveal this sparkly, sleeveless mini dress from a summer collection. In New York City. In the middle of winter.
She performed a medley of “Picture To Burn”, “Love Story”, “Forever & Always” (with the Jonas Brothers also performing at the event) and “Change.”

Taylor did an acoustic session back in 2008 for AOL wearing this sheer purple layer dress by Myne Kylie. I love the thick black leather belt she added to cinch in the waist and to also edge up the floaty nature of the dress.

Taylor opted to remove the somewhat distracting (but vintage-looking) floral appliqué at the top shoulder of this sheer spotted dress. I personally love this length in general, but especially on Taylor as it elongates those gorgeous legs of hers!
