The 10 paces we take from the door of the restaurant to Swift’s black SUV feel a bit like walking the plank. Nestled safely inside the cocoon of the car’s backseat, she continues. “I usually only make that face when I’m alone, or I put my head down.” Why? I ask. “So they don’t get a good shot.” She pauses and thinks about it. “I guess also because I’m scared.” (x)
