Christian Louboutin ‘Very Prive Platform Pump’ – no longer available

I’m not personally crazy about mixing metals so I’m fairly confused as to why a gold pair of Taylor’s favoured ‘Very Prive’ pumps was paired with her otherwise all-silver outfit. Especially as she’s worn the silver versions of these pumps multiple times. 

Worn with: Collette Dinnigan dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Swarovski clutch

Brian Atwood ‘Tribeca Leather Platform Sandals’ – $895.00 

I’m relieved to see we actually get a decent look at Taylor’s shoes for the night — a fierce metallic pair of Brian Atwood ankle-strap platforms. Silver over bronze would have been my pick.

Jimmy Choo ‘Iris Patent Square Toe Pumps’ – $675.00

From the pastel colour to the mod block heel, though the outfit isn’t quite to my taste I think the general styling for Taylor’s retro look was consistent and on-point.

Prada ‘Suede Point Toe Pumps’ – $650.00 (blue)

FINALLY. After several weeks of a candid drought, Taylor resurfaced in New York wearing a co-ord set brightened up by this jade green pair of Prada heels she wore last summer.

While I’m mostly just glad to see her finally out and about again I also can’t complain that her return to the streets is in an outfit punched up with a bright springy colour and anchored down by more ‘classic’ chic separates.

Worn with: Lulufrost necklace, Missguided blazer + shorts and Elie Saab bag
