I really liked the no-fuss styling of these printed beach shorts from the Osklen Spring 2015 runway. A brighter coloured top could have been paired with this black and white piece to create a more cheesy 80s-esque look, but I think I like the simpler black crop chosen instead.

Missguided ‘Verity Skort in Black’ – $34.20
It’s interesting to see Taylor’s style embrace a different kind of “retro.” Usually Taylor’s style in terms of vintage has always harkened back to the timeless and elegant beauties of film such as Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Francoise Hardy. Lately, she’s seemed to gravitate towards what could loosely be referred to as 70s/80s edgy influences.
Her chunky platform heels, all-black ensembles and skorts seem to speak to that.
