Christy Dawn ‘Lianne Dress in Colorblocked Crimson’ – $575.00

My entire heart! It seems almost impossible that this friendship has spanned as long as it has (or that Selena really is 30 this year) – but we got adorable Taylena content as Taylor celebrated this momentous birthday with her dear friend in this mixed print dress by one of her favoured sustainable dress brands.

Worn with: Christy Dawn dress

Stella McCartney ‘The Beatles Get Back Tie Dye Hoodie’ – $895.00

A double English moment! Just as Taylor collaborated with British designer Stella McCartney to create an exclusive line of merch for her album Lover, Stella also created a line of Beatles merch in – dare I say – Lover-esque colours. Given Stella’s obvious connection to both Taylor and The Beatles, this is a really sweet moment.

Celebrating 32nd birthday | New York City, NY | December 13, 2021

Julia Clancey ‘Lady Boogie Dress’ – $800.00

And that she was! A lady who boogies, that is. In photos posted to celebrate turning 32, Taylor wore a flouncey sequined one-shoulder design by Julia Clancey.

This makes the third dress in recent memory of Taylor favouring a one-shoulder design (the first a David Koma in the “Three Sad Virgins” skit on SNL and the second an Alexandre Vauthier as part of her SNL promo photoshoot). It’s fun to see her wearing new silhouettes and especially when they’re repeated in a short time period. Another unifying concept for all three dresses is the sequin – which isn’t new in Taylor’s world as she’s yet to meet a sparkly dress she hasn’t loved.

Recording RED (Taylor’s Version) | December 11, 2021

Zara ‘Friends T-Shirt’ – $26.00 (sold out)

An adorable video of Taylor attempting to adjust her bangs while in the midst of the RED re-recording process was posted to Chinese music platforms this week.

As a Friends fan myself, I can spot that famous pilot episode scene anywhere.
