Remember when I was talking about outfits with amazing colour palettes? This would be one of them. I love the way the colours all fit together with her borrowed-from-the-boys blazer with contrasting plaid fabric at the cuffs, tucked in oxford button down, coloured denim and a cute pair of Isabel marant ankle boots.
With Meredith in hand, this outfit didn’t need a hat to complete Sarah’s Candid 2014 Trifecta.

Candid – March 29, New York City
Even though I pretty much guaranteed the safety of this candid on the year-end list, there were still so many other all-black contenders that nearly made it. Like this London ensemble. But, ultimately, I went with this rainy day New York outing instead.
For my long-time TSS-ers you know I’m a sucker for all black and leather so this outfit was a no brainer to include.
I love how in comparison to the rest of her outfit, her beauty look is relatively fresh-faced and clean. No lippie to speak of and hardly any eyeliner — too pretty.

I bet you guys didn’t think that a candid where Taylor had long hair would make it onto a 2014 end-of-year list. But here it is!
When this candid came out, I all but promised that it would make it into the end-of-year list. Little did I know at that time way back in January what a year of candids it would be, but it still managed to find its way into my heart even by the end of the year.
Everything about this outfit is still perfect for me. The oh-so-casual-cool mixture of black layers mixed in with the killer pops of red from her lips and ankle boots (a reoccurring theme from this year). It all just still screams “I’m not even really trying but I’m definitely still hot as hell” sort of deal.
