Not only is this spread courtesy of a Canadian magazine, but it also features Taylor in some truly amazing outerwear — something we definitely don’t get to see her rock enough of. My favourite is the Fausto Puglisi that she wore for the cover.

On another note, how piercing did the makeup make her eyes look for this shoot?

Doesn’t Taylor’s hair here give you some wistful feelings? I loved the boho styling of Taylor’s shoot with Glamour as well as the beauty look which was minimalist and glowy. Pearl-shadowed eyes gave her highlights, her skin was dewy and her lips were a soft shade of pink. Everything in this shoot was so laidback and boho-esque but so beautiful.

Event — Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After-Party (December 2)

In 2014, we saw Taylor vamp up her style and begin taking steps towards sexier, more mature choices. This Zuhair Murad couture piece was, in my opinion, the exemplification of that effort.

Everything about this gown screams elegance and also sultry appeal. The futuristic sheer bodice, the one-shoulder effect, the thigh-high slit. I hope she tries to one-up this in 2015 several times over.

I think I have a greater amount of appreciation for this backless Julien MacDonald dress in retrospect than when it first debuted earlier this year.

It’s dark, it’s elegant and a bit of turn-around-and-bam from that sheer back. Her styling which includes a gorgeous clutch, simple sandals and dark smoky makeup were also the perfect additions to the gown.

If you’ve been a TSS-er for a long time you know that I have had a vision/ludicrous pipe dream of Taylor Swift wearing a full-length emerald green gown.

I don’t know if Taylor knows that I have dreamed that for a really long time but it actually happened.

And while I’m normally not crazy about illusion necklines like the one on the yoke of this dress as well as the torso cut out, I’m so floored by the streamlined silhouette and the absolutely perfect and stunning colour that I don’t even look at the illusion neckline.

Smoky, bronzed eyes and minimal gold jewels finished off this mature, classy and elegant outing for Taylor.

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I did this last time! This will be my third time counting down my favourite outfits from the last year and I think this has been the most exciting year thus far.

With an unprecedented amount of candids (the most Taylor has ever done), a new approach to life and love as well as an album to promote, I don’t think Taylor’s style has ever been discussed or changed. This year, Taylor began seriously experimenting with new silhouettes and introduced the crop top over the summer. Baring her midriff on the sidewalk also jumped over into some of her red carpet looks as well. Her candids have had an increasing combination of sexy, young, girly, schoolgirl as well as nods to her retro flair through her accessories, beauty looks and colour palettes.

I also just want to quickly add as the end of year approaches that for the millionth time I can’t thank you guys enough for all your support this year. TSS is the reason I got to meet Taylor and I think you guys are an integral part of what makes this site what it is. Hearing from you, talking to you and sharing in our excitement and love about Taylor and her style has been one of the greatest joys I have ever experienced. So thank you!

Let’s get started!
