Mandalay ‘Bejeweled Silk Dress’

Another difference between the North American and Asian/European leg tour wardrobes was the “Love Story” dress. North Americans got to see Taylor in a poofy Valentino gown as she performed this major hit. While the Asian and European attendees of the Speak Now Tour were treated to this floaty, embellished mini dress by Mandalay. Being Taylor she of course added a bit of extra fabric to that low v-neckline for a more movement-friendly tour dress.

ASOS ‘Skater Dress in Hummingbird Print’ – no longer available

It’s amazing what accessories can do, huh? Taylor breathed new life into this bird-printed black dress from ASOS that she last wore over a year ago while out with Harry Styles.

That red belt and bright red lip both do wonders to glam up this casual outfit. Favourite candid of 2014 thus far? I think so.

Worn with: Ray-Ban sunglasses, Laura Gravestock necklace, Dolce & Gabbana bag and Bloch heels

Collette Dinnigan Fall 2010

Although for the North American leg of the Speak Now World Tour Taylor’s set didn’t feature any on-stage costume changes (as we are usually accustomed from Taylor), the slightly different setlist and wardrobe from the original Asian and European legs of the tour that predated the North American leg did.

During “Enchanted” Taylor would appear in this long, skirted bodice-embellished gown by Collette Dinnigan (a favourite designer for Taylor’s performance dresses). Midway through the song, the custom skirt – made of more substantial silk than transparent tulle – would be ripped off to reveal an augmented mini dress version of the original lookbook gown.
