Favourite Outfits of 2015: tayswiftstyle.com

Candid — June 17, Los Angeles

While simple, I have an undeniable personal love for this colour palette. Burgundy and black is one of my go-tos for outfits so I love that Taylor paired them here, mixing and matching skin-revealing silhouettes by pairing a long-sleeve crop top with a short skirt here by Brandy Melville and finishing it off with fierce heels and sunglasses. Probably not most people’s idea of comfortable plane-wear, but it works here.

Candid — March 28, Los Angeles

This an outfit that I feel got skipped out on a lot, so I decided to include it in my year-end list for the sole reason that this is an outfit that I myself would wear. It’s a classic, it’s flattering, it’s perfect. A striped top, black skirt, pair of heels. Sounds like a perfect cute-but-casual outfit to me.

Let’s
just forget that Taylor technically wore this romper for the purpose of
the 1989 Keds Style Event and call it a candid, shall we? Especially
because it’s the combination of that perfect white romper with those
to-die-for aqua heels that really make the event. Plus great hair and a
sly “I know I look damn good” smile.

Whether it’s the combination of textures, black and white, long sleeves with shorts or ankle boot heels, I really loved this outfit (and Taylor’s makeup) here from this summer candid in California. The fact that no other part of her outfit was chosen to compete with those lace Alice + Olivia shorts (which are rightfully front and center) was a wise choice.
