If you guys have been following me for long enough, you know that I’m a total sucker for a blonde in yellow – so I’m kind of dying over this co-ord set on Taylor. I personally would have just dropped the bag and opted for something to match the shoes but otherwise I love the way the jacket brings out a tough city slicker edge to this otherwise girly laser cutout ensemble.

What do you think? Or are you tired of co-ords?

Here we are four years later and I’m still a sucker for a Blondes In Yellow™ moment. Looking back, I still think the bag and shoes are the wrong accessories for the look. While unconventional, if the intent was to mix styles (girly with a tougher piece like the bomber jacket) a studded or netted pair of heels like these by Gianvito Rossi would have been a better choice, imo.

Lots of black going up on the blog today! I’m glad Taylor chose to accent the look with jolts of bubblegum pink but I love how comfy this outfit looks!

Soft chevron jersey crop top and pencil skirt make Taylor really look at ease while continuing her promo streak in London following a quick round in France.

I loved the more mature take on Taylor’s 1989 Era go-to of a co-ord set here. The longer top length and pencil-esque fit of the skirt as well as the more restrained colour palette is much appreciated. Pairing the black set with a bright bubblegum pink (ankle strap!!) heel and lip was the perfect way to softly bring it back to her 1989 style.
