ModCloth ‘On Your Way Skirt’ – no longer available

For a lot of you, this is one of your favourite Taylor candid ensembles. For me, this outfit carries a lot of special memories as owner of this site. It was my first complete head-to-toe identification done by myself. 

I still remember the pride I felt when I found the Marc Jacobs heels she wears here.

Worn with: Ralph Lauren sweater, Fendi bag and Marc Jacobs heels

This on the other hand I can viscerally remember identifying. And, as the caption states, it was the first outfit I had found head to toe on my own. I remember the Marc Jacobs heels, in particular, being difficult to track down. 

Beyond nostalgia and being sentimental, I’ll always love this outfit for its fun colour combination — one of the things I admire most about Taylor’s style is her ability to combine interesting colours and pull it off with aplomb.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 RTW

Nothing excites me more than Taylor photo shoots because it’s like seeing Taylor play out the character and personality of a fashion director’s imagination.

In this case, Joe Zee’s vision was of an ultra mod 60s go-go girl. The styling for this shoot is like a haute couture Nylon-girl and I think it really suits Taylor’s willowy frame and doe eyes. 

Taylor made this look more demure and less voyeur by adding a nude slip underneath.

If you’ve been following TSS (or, rather, @taylorswiftstylequestions) then you know that I am an absolute sucker for a blonde in yellow and it’s like Taylor heard my personal pleas and decided to grant me a little fashion wish while exploring Italy with Tom Hiddleston.

Self Portrait ‘Floral Twist Neck Mini Dress’ – $390.00

Be still my beating heart. As some of you may know, in addition to green I am a sucker for Blondes In Yellow™. And Taylor served that up beautifully today with this spring forward yellow mini dress. Keeping her hair up was a wise choice given the long sleeves and twisted neck detail. 

If I were to nitpick, a pair of pastel pink sandals would have been my styling choice. But I’m not one to look a golden gifthorse in the mouth.
