I know. I had to read it again just to make sure.

But yes, five years
have indeed gone by for this little blog that could. Five years ago, on
a serendipitously Taylor Swiftian day — October 13, 2011 — TSS
was born. Pictured above is the very first outfit I ever posted to the blog.

Like a lot of blog runners looking in retrospect, I
could never have imagined all of the things that TSS would go on to
become and accomplish. What began as something that I created on a whim to
forge a previously unexplored crossroads between my two most loved
things — Taylor and fashion — has become (what I hope it is to many as it
is to me) a community of thoughtful, critical, smart, and funny people brought together by a love of Taylor’s
words and style and hopefully a few of the sentences I’ve written about both.

So:

For those who have been with me since the beginning.

For those who followed me yesterday.

For those who have sent messages, and those who have silently watched from the sidelines.

Thank you for this wild, crazy and extremely fashionable ride.

And here’s to another five years.

Roadtripping!

Hi sweet TSS-ers! Having just drove up to my first hostel on a roadtrip, I thought it’d be a good time to let you guys in on the fact that I’m roadtripping to the California coastline/Big Sur with my best friend for the next week! Yep. Taylie photo levels of cuteness will probably happen.

That said, my access to wifi and thus ability to post will be hindered for the next week but I’ll be back home in Vancouver on Sep 12!

Roadtripping!

Hi sweet TSS-ers! Having just drove up to my first hostel on a roadtrip, I thought it’d be a good time to let you guys in on the fact that I’m roadtripping to the California coastline/Big Sur with my best friend for the next week! Yep. Taylie photo levels of cuteness will probably happen.

Away on a weekend getaway!

Hi all! I wanted to thank you all for the sweet well wishes and kind messages I received when I went away for the weekend with friends to go camping.

Just wanted to give another heads up that I will be a little quiet this weekend as well – I’ll be taking a bit of a romantic weekend getaway with my love (Whistler!) until the evening of Monday, May 23. While I will have cell service and able to answer your questions or check in for the evenings, I’ll mostly be focusing on exploring Whistler with my partner!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Happy Victoria Day/long weekend to my fellow British Columbians who get an extra day off on Monday!

Before I go, please feel free to send requests for throwback posts to @taylorswiftstylequestions and I’ll try to set up a fun flashback queue for the weekend.
