When you’re still in disbelief that this got to happen to you. And the fact that it happened exactly two years ago today? Even crazier.

I will forever be grateful to @taylorswift for the opportunity to not only see New York, but to be “welcomed” by it by her and her music. Music that has shaped me over the last decade (#OGSwiftie) and will continue to do so for hopefully the next ten.

Hey guys! So it’s been posted by a bunch of other wonderful Session people but I also just wanted to put it out there on TSS to please please please not leak 1989. I understand we’re all excited. I understand we all want the album like yesterday. But please have respect for Taylor and her work and wait four more days. It’s only four more days!

If you do see a leak, do not spread it

Send a link directly to Taylor Nation or please send a link to someone who attended a Secret Session. We were all given a ‘leak line’ to call if something leaks. No matter what site it is on, whether it’s in the form of an audio of a song or full lyrics or anything you think could even slightly be considered a leak. Please don’t spread it, just report it. Tay is counting on our eyes and ears on the Internet!

I just want to say how much it meant to me to be invited to the New York sessions of all the sessions. New York is a city I’ve been dreaming of visiting for years. It’s a place I felt like my heart belonged to. And all of my friends who have seen that city have told me that it’s a place they all felt when they walked the streets that I should be. So getting the opportunity to see New York and to see Taylor in New York and to listen to how much New York means to Taylor and to talk to her about our mutual love for the city was incredible. Absolutely incredible. 

Thank you so much taylorswift for having “Welcome to New York” be the first song that I heard when I was in that city. And for letting me listen to it in your apartment of all places. I love you so much!!

taylorswift invited over 400 fans to visit her at her homes in the US and UK to listen to her new album before it was released. She called it the ‘1989 Secret Sessions’.
