Chanel archive jacket
An interesting move by the British Vogue team to start a new decade by looking to the past. Specifically, the Chanel archives with one of their iconic tweed/boucle style jackets. According to editor in chief Edward Enninful, the choice was to place the magazine amidst the growing conversation of sustainability in fashion and the role of a consumer in the issue of climate change at large.
They inadvertently also made my dreams come true by featuring Taylor in more Chanel — a brand woefully underused by her.

Again, there’s so much tension and movement in this photo. Plus that headtilt and search to bask in a form of light. I want to hope that this is a symbolic representation of Taylor and the breaks of sun peeking through the stormclouds that must have been her hivemind when writing for Lover.
That said, these Audrey vibes are what I’m getting from this photo.
Worn with: Hermes shirt and Maximum Henry belt
Get the look: Reiss, $179.00
